Scuba Mickey

I have always wondered how they did this. If you know leave a comment and please explain so I don't have to be the idiot who says they are a huge Epcot fan but has no idea how they do it!

Trapdoor Mickey

Did you know there is a trapdoor on top of Space Ship Earth. I'm not quite sure about the reason, maybe for maintenance but it was use in a Walt Disney World commercial:

You also may have noticed the big Sonic the Hedgehog.

Dreamfinder on South Park

This was from a special/movie episode/s a few years back. South Park is great and it is awesome to see Epcot stuff in South Park or anything for that matter. Though warning, South Park is Not For Kids.

Opinion of the Week: Why Mission Space Needs to Go

Mission Space, it was supposed to be the end all be all of thrill rides. Replacing Horizons it made its mark on Epcot history by making Disney fans really upset. Mission Space is very intense, a few people died but it was due to prior heart problems, and not the ride. It did not help the attraction from a PR standpoint though. I have never been on this ride. Now you are probably thinking "Who are you to say they should get rid of this ride?" I'm a person who does not want to get sick, but also wants be entertained. See, what they did was add in a less intense version. If I go on that I know I'm not going to have that good of a time since I'm essentially just watching a movie on some TV right next to my face. If I go on the other version I know I will get sick and not enjoy the rest of the day. So what am I supposed to do? Well I could just not go on it. Sure but why should I miss out on something, even if said thing is not that great. I know it is to late to bring Horizons back, but I wish they would just replace Mission Space. I know Disney wanted to simulate the experience of space travel, but not everyone can handle that thrill. I realize some attractions will not be accessible to all people, there are so many great ideas Disney Imagineers have and Mission Space feels like a waste, of well, space.

Disney Tilt-Shift Video

This video has been out for a while but I thought it was worth readers who have not seen it to see it. What makes it so awesome is that Tilt-Shift gives the time lapses the appearance of being model toys.

The Epcot Wand, or lack Thereof

Rember this?

It may have been taken down in 2007 for Epcot's 25 annivarsary but does anyone miss the wand? I know I don't. There was never a point to it, does Disney think I'm that stupid that I don't know what park I'm in. You pay 80 dollars or however much the admission is I think I know where I am. Was there ever a need for that wand? Am I the only one still upset 4 years after it was taken off?! Don't even get me started on the whole Epcot/Epcot Center thing, I'll write about that sometime.
