15 Years of Nintendo 64: Super Mario 64 Commerical Comparison

Since this year is the 15th anniversary of the Nintendo 64 I thought I would look at the differences in the commercials for Super Mario 64 and Super Mario 64 DS You can read it after the break.
First up Super Mario 64:





Here are the instructions  for video game commercials of the time:

1. Kid talking about game.
2. In your face.
3. In your face.

Yes I said in your face twice, and the second commercial fits all three. Now Super Mario 64 DS:

Okay, that one is terrible. This one follows the steps for a bad video game commercial:

1. Lack of information about the game.
2. Little video of gameplay.

That is it. Those are my two pet peeves when it comes to video game commercials. So it turns out commercials have not gotten any better. But thankfully the games are still great.
