Resort Spotlight: Disney's Pop Century Resort
Pop Century is in the Disney's ESPN Wide World of Sport Area but is also near Disney's Hollywood Studios and Epcot. It is considered a value resort along with the All-Star Resorts. The theme of this resort is the late 20th century with buildings and hotel rooms with 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s,and 90s themes. There are three pools: one is a computer pool, another one is The Hippy Dippy Pool, and the last one is a bowling pin pool.The gift shop and food court are combined into one section called Everything Pop. The resort is decorated with over the top landmarks such as a large pile of floppy discs among other things. Guests who stay at this resort get all the amenities of staying on Disney property including transportation, extra time in the parks, and transportion between the airport and your hotel. Disney's Pop Century Resort hotel is a great place for anyone who is on a budget to stay at Walt Disney World.
